I learnt and re-learnt

Was out with a friend who was what I was 6 years back .. unsure yet confident, nimble yet scared, visionary yet clouded.

I wish I could tell him what I saw .. wish I could lead him .. wish I could tell him what to do .. why didn't I ..

good question .. why didn't I .... the generation gap maybe !

So near yet so far ...

I got so close to what was to be,
close enough but couldn't be ..

Was I to blame,
or was it destiny ..

I hope we settle,
for life's too tiny ...
